PURCHASING A CARPET ~1~

"Constantijn Huygens and his Clerk" (detail) Thomas Keyser (1627, National Gallery, London)

We are represented in the USA by our New York Dealer, Murat Kupcu, at the Double Knot Gallery in New York City, at 13 White St in the Tribeca neighborhood.  You can contact him at 212.966.9113, or info@double-knot.com. His shop is open to the public Monday through Saturday, from 11AM-6PM, and by appointment at other times.

We are represented in Europe by our Italian dealer, the architect Andrea Pacciani, in Parma, at Vicolo del Carmine 1.  He can be reached at 39.0521.284.463, or at arch.andrea.pacciani@virgilio.it.  He opened his showroom in Parma in the Fall of 2008, and it is well worth a visit, as it is like a museum of classical carpets.

Although our dealers carry a number of carpets in stock, many of our rugs are bespoke (made to order).  This enables us to fine tune the details within a range of size and color, or more extensively tailor the patterns, colors and sizes for a special order, and to produce unique carpets of the highest quality, while keeping our costs reasonable.

Bespoke carpets take several months to weave and ship from the time of the finalization of the order, as every skein of yarn is handspun, naturally dyed and hand woven.

Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions at 510.355.6401.  We can provide detailed photos of the carpets as well as yarn samples and vagirehs (full size pattern samples) as is appropriate for your project..
